Ingredients

Rice :- 2 cups, soaked and drained

Coconut milk :- 5 cups ( thick) from aprox 2 coconut

Ginger garlic paste :- 2 tbsp

Cloves :- 8-9

Green cardamom :- 3-4

Cinnamon :- 2

Bay leaves :- 2

Cumin :- 2 tsp

Casewnuts :- 14-16

Raisin :- 15-20

Red dry chilli :- 2

Ghee/ Oil :- 2 tbsp

Sugar :- 2 tsp

salt to taste

Methods

Heat ghee in a deep pan. Add cloves, bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, cumin and dry red chilli and fry for few second.

Now put casewnuts and raisin and fry.

Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2-3 mins.

Put drained rice into that and fry the rice for 4-5 mins till colour of the rice change to light drown.

Add coconut milk, little salt and sugar stir it well.

Cover the pan and put in simmer for 15 mins, till rice is totally cook.

Garnish with coconut slice.

Serve hot with chicken curry or any gravy dish.
