Ingredients
Prawns :- 800 grams
Onions :- 1 large( ground to paste with cumin),1 medium (finely chopped)
Boiled potato :- 1 large (cut in small cubes)
Tomato :- 2 medium (puree)
Ginger garlic paste :- 1 1/2 tsp
Cumin :- 2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder :- 1 tsp
Garam masala :- 1 tsp
Bay leaves :- 3
Coconut Milk - 1 cup thick and 1 cup thin
Salt to taste
Oil :- 2-3 tbsp

Coconut Milk - 1 cup thick and 1 cup thin

Oil :- 2-3 tbsp
Methods
Marinate prawns with salt and turmeric powder for 10 mins.
In a pan, heat up 1 tbsp of oil and fry all the prawns for 2-3 mins and keep aside.
In the same pan heat oil add bay leaves and cumin and fry for few seconds.
Now add chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
Add onion paste and cook for a min.
Put ginger-garlic paste, garam masala and turmeric powder, chilli powder and cook for 2-3 mins.
Add tomato puree and mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
Add prawns and stir fry for 1 minutes.
First put thin coconut milk and boiled potatovto the prawn and cover the pan for 2-3 mins in low flame, till the gravy reduces to a half.
Add salt to taste. Now add thick coconut milk to then and again cover for 2 mins.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
