Ingredients
Pointed gourd (parwal ): - 4
Fried Poppy seed paste : - 4 tbsp
Turmeric powder :- 1 tsp
Chilli powder : - 1 tsp
Cooking oil :- 2tbsp
Salt to taste

Methods
( Poppy seeds paste – Soak 2 tbsp of poppy seeds for an hour. Put them in a blender with 1 small chopped onion, 4-5 garlic cloves, 1 green chilli, cumin seeds 1 tsp. Blend till it becomes a smooth and fine paste. Heat ½ tsp of oil in a pan and fry poppy seed paste for 5-6 mins and keep aside ).
Wash and peel the skin of parwal. Cut one side length wise (do not cut into two pieces) and remove seeds.
Now gently stuff the parwal with fried poppy seeds paste.
Heat a wide pan with one tea spoon of oil. Add little salt, red chilli powder and fry for few seconds. Add stuffed parwals one by one carefully in the pan.
Cook till parwal is turn to golden in colour.
Garnish with tomato.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
